Shipping Container Homes
Prototype mini home designs from up-cycled shipping containers. Potential applications: addressing components of the housing crisis, affordable off-grid living units, and future space settlement study pods on Mars.
These models utilized the 20’ high-cubes and experimented with cladding and insulation on the interior and exterior. The final prototype was lived in and tested in the heart of the desert in the summer extremes. Read about the experience here.
